As I've posted, I will be moving to Pennsylvania soon. There are changes everyone has to make when moving but for piping that will be a unique learning experience! There is different maintenance involved for true cold weather and I welcome other pipers advice. Being Tampa Bay's full time bagpiper has been a great blessing and honor and I have had a great time being there for you all in your time of need and times of celebration.
There are many great pipers and bands in the area of Tampa Bay ( now Champa Bay or Tompa Bay) which I will supply a list to those who have asked. The piping community is a tight knit one and I am very grateful for that! I've already had suggestions on bands to get involved with up there and I look forward to seeing how that Celtic scene is. One thing I am very excited for is the Piobaireachd club in PA and I am excited to up my piobaireachd game. For me, this has been so much more than playing a few tunes, I've had the opportunity to pray with folks, share a little wisdom, encourage, and be a blessing to thousands of people. To be able to pipe for a living has been a blessing from God and my wife's push (she is also a great blessing from God) has been needed and very much honored! Thank you all for all the bagpiping, and I look forward to the next time I get to serve you.
